The Northern Lights School Division uses PowerSchool for their Student Information System. One of the features of PowerSchool is the Parent Portal for parents to use to stay connected with their child's school. The parent portal contains grades and attendance, school information and much more.
How do you get connected to the Parent Portal? Each school website has a link to the PowerSchool Parent Portal at the bottom of the school's home page and is also available by clicking this link http://powerschool.nlsd.ab.ca/public/ or using the link in Quicklinks (left hand side homepage). You can create a login by using information that you should receive in the form of a letter from your child's school. This letter will contain your confidential Access ID and password.
What if I didn't get the letter from my school? No problem - contact your school and they will provide you with the information that you need to get connected.
Having problems creating your own account? No problem - contact your school and they will walk you through the create account process or contact Joanne at the Division Office at 780-826-3145, ext 136.
