The Northern Lights School Division is offering a child care program called Out of School Care for families in need of child care surrounding school hours. To be eligible for this program, children must be enrolled in Kindergarten through Grade Six (or age 12). The goal of the Out of School Care Program is to fulfill a need for quality child care for families in our communities. Out of School Care is available throughout the school calendar year - and may be offered before school, after school, on Family Fridays, Family Mondays, and Interview Days, or all of the above. Pending staff availability and need, we may also offer Out of School Care during school holidays in the future (Christmas, Spring Break, Easter etc.)
Fees may be completely or partially covered by the Out of School Care subsidy program provided by the Alberta Government. There are numerous activities for students. Programs may vary by locations and staff availability.
Out of School Care for 2013-2014 will be offered at these schools:
Vera M. Welsh School (Lac La Biche)
Central Elementary School (Lac La Biche)
Duclos School (Bonnyville)
